Earth Block

  1. Compressed Earth Block or CEB is a construction material made from the dirt beneath your feet to build a wide variety of structures including homes, schools, churches, clinics, stores, barricades and fortifications.
  2. Compressed Earth Blocks are made by compressing a soil and 6-10% Portland cement or lime (used as a stabilizer) in a hydraulic press.
  3. These blocks can be used to build with after curing for 7 days. They reach full strength and become water resistant after a 28-day cure period.

The new BP 714 Compressed Earth Block machine is in testing now and making great blocks. The blocks shown in this picture are straight out of the machine and put under stress. There are 15 blocks on top of the stack each weighing 22 lbs. Breaking ground on a new breed of Earth Block Quality
